Dror Ben-David

Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Throughout a twenty-five year military career, Mr. Ben-David held a series of top-level operational and management positions in the Israel Defense Forces.

On returning to civilian life, he became a senior manager in Matrix Group, one of Israel’s largest information technology service providers, focusing on the management of strategic consulting to large corporations and organizations in the areas of information systems, security, and strategic organization.

Mr. Ben-David has served as non-executive chairman of Al Cielo Ltd., a developer of fiber-optic technologies for tele-communications, and is currently a board member of several technology companies, as well as a noted commentator on strategic matters.

He holds a BA cum laude in physics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Dr. Arieh Meitav

Chief Technology Officer and Founder

Respected as one of Israel’s pre-eminent electro-chemists and materials engineers, Dr. Meitav has more than thirty years of industrial experience in managing interdisciplinary R&D projects.

As manager of engineering and R&D at Tadiran Systems in the nineteen-eighties, Dr. Meitav led the development of several lithium ion technologies. In the early nineties, he was a founder and senior manager at Electric Fuel Ltd., a developer of zinc-air batteries for portable devices and transportation systems. He went on to found ECR Electrochemical Research Ltd., developing an innovative capacitors technology. He led the company to a successful exit when it was acquired by AVX, a unit of Kyocera Corporation.

Dr. Meitav holds a B.Sc. in chemistry, an M.Sc. in electroplating and electro-analytical chemistry and a Ph.D. in electro-chemistry and materials engineering, all from Tel-Aviv University. He has authored more than a dozen patents as well as numerous international publications and serves an advisor to Peregrine Ventures, one of Israel’s leading venture funds.

Arnold Roth

Chief Operating Officer

Arnold Roth is a seasoned manager in global-market-facing technology ventures with three decades of background as a commercial lawyer and entrepreneur.

For twenty years, he served as a lawyer in private practice, focusing on commercial transactions and intellectual property. He held senior management roles in private and public companies in Australia and the United States, including Software Corporation of Australia which he co-founded and co-led to an initial public offering and a successful follow-on offering.

After moving from his native Australia to Israel in 1988, he served as chief executive and chief operating officer for a number of Israeli technology ventures.

Mr. Roth holds degrees in economics and law from Monash University, Melbourne and is a member of the bar in Israel and Australia.

Robert Meshel

VP Business Development

Robert Meshel is a strategic business development specialist with 12 years of experience in global automotive industry. At Technomatix Technologies, he led products from inception through to market leadership.

He holds MSc in mechanical engineering from Tel-Aviv University and MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and Tel-Aviv University’s Recanati School of Business Administration.

Gershon Ordan

Chief Engineer

Mr. Ordan’s thirty year career as an engineer has focused on the research and development of propulsion systems for civilian and military aviation. His professional expertise covers multiple fields including the operation and maintenance of turbojet engines; combustion, combustion chambers, and aero-thermodynamics; diagnostics, testing systems and infra-structures; systems engineering and project management; advanced mechanical design; fluid dynamics; heat transfer; and high pressure systems.

A graduate of the Technion’s faculty of mechanical engineering, he was seconded to NASA’s Hypersonic Propulsion Branch in Langley, Virginia during the eighties and to the Aerospace Engineering department at Georgia Institute of Technology in the nineties.

Dr Shalom Luski

Leader – Energy Storage Technology

Dr. Luski leads ETVM’s research and development efforts in relation to its new-generation batteries project.

His background includes four years as vice president of R&D chemistry and consumables at Printar, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of digital inkjet printing machines and inks.

Dr. Luski later joined Power Paper Ltd. on its establishment, rising to vice president of core technologies, where his team developed thin and flexible battery technology. During the nineties, he served as Project Manager for primary and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries at Tadiran Batteries Ltd.

He holds numerous patents in his professional fields.
